Can't connect, endlessly asks for CD Key

Title. Thought I'd make a separate topic on this, since I've tried again today and nothing's different.

I use the cd key applier, it still asks for the CD key when I click either of the internet options. I enter in the CD key, the dialog just appears again.

I never had this problem when it briefly worked those few years ago, I just entered in a random valid CD key and it just worked flawlessly.
